<p>After maturing, the cheese already offers a mild flavour. It has no sharp taste and this will benefit the final flavour. After the smoked process has been completed, the cheese is then coated with paprika. It&#8217;s vital for the flavourings to go on after the smoking process, so they don&#8217;t pick up any strong smoked flavourings themselves.</p>
<p>The way in which the cheese is matured, along with added flavourings after the smoking process, allow Applewood Cheddar to offer a mild smoked flavour. This unique way of preparing the cheese, has given it a taste that many can enjoy.</p>
